""I ask through you, through Reuters, really we need some calm. We are panicking too much,"
Badri told the Reuters Global Energy Summit.
"The situation is unbearable as far as we are concerned. I want to say, there is no shortage now and in the future.""
That's not what the green crowd has been telling everyone. They claim oil is unsustainable and the we simply must find alternative sources of fuel. If you were in the business of making money and you thought the source of that
livelihood was soon going to vanish, wouldn't you want to make as much money as you could before that happened?
No one should be surprised at gas prices, they are a direct result of
environmentalism and Democrat and liberal policies as well as the complete inability of Republicans to have a backbone or conservative to stand up for what they know to be true.
I remember when it was first discussed to drill in
ANWR and detractors used the
argument that it didn't matter because it would be 14 years before we saw any oil and we needed to act now on alternative fuels. Well, it's 14 years later and we COULD be benefiting from action that was taken back then and we still aren't any closer to an alternative fuel source that is affordable and viable.
OIL WORKS, OIL IS CHEAP, OIL IS TODAY...deal with it or hang on for even higher prices. Your stupid
Prius is not going to save the world. Stop acting like it will, stop acting like you are making a difference because you drive one. If you really cared about making this world a better place you would stand aside and let those who need more money to support their families actually have it. Right now they spend it on gas, and because they spend it on gas their children aren't getting what they need. Thanks a lot liberals for harming the children...good job.
