BoBo and Eve

The court should not declare this chimp a person and only one reason is needed: he is not, in fact, a person. We really should have expected it to come to this. We've let the animal rights wackos go on with their beliefs under the umbrella of tolerance and look what it's gotten us. Do you really want the day to come when you can't scold your dog, or feed it the food you can afford, because the law says you must treat it like a person. Animals don't have rights, animals shouldn't have rights.

I love animals. They are wonderful, fantastic things, and a tribute to the wonderment of God. Nevertheless, I do not hesitate to eat them, or to turn them into shoes as the need presents itself. I do feel animals each have a unique purpose. For example, horses for work, and riding, dogs for work and companionship, cows for milk, cheese, and beef and I don't feel those roles should get mixed up. I don't suggest we eat dolphin, or chimp or dog.

I think people are people and animals are animals and above all God is God. He has given us dominion over the earth and all the animals. We are not to make them equal with us.

That aside, the article is an interesting one about the value of trees and how they work. A little science lesson to be sure, but hey, I never said this was for the fun of it!

Scientific Yoga

Putting aside the issue behind this article, I find it a stretch for the historian to reach the conclusion he has. It is a perfect example of how science is not unbiased.
